Question Thrush????

Hey:

I am new to this board and have been doing the low-carb thing now for almost a month. I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced thrush mouth from this type of dieting? I have major mouth soreness (no cankers that I can see), redness, burning and this morning I woke to find my lips looking and feeling like I got stung by a swarm of crazy bees! I am going to the dr. this morning as it is quite painfull as well. Just wondering if it is possibly yeast/thrush?? Any advice would be helpful. I have posted in the general health area but havent gotten many responses so I thought I would try here..... I am super desperate! Thanks in advance for any advice/help!

Default I doubt it.

I have had thrush before and it was little white patches that were localized. I don't recall my lips swelling. I do know that when I started this WOE that the "yeast" really started acting
up. Once I started 'starving' them I felt better. About a month later. I deal with dental biopsies and most of the time this turns out to be a food allergy or an infection.

I can't stick to the yeast free diet. I am not that disciplined. I would if I lived by myself.

Hope the Dr can tell you. I am glad that you have an appt.

Be blessed,
Tanya
