today's challenge....

Student brings me an absolutely AMAZING smelling and looking piece of apple pie he made in foods class. Fortunately, he left me alone with it so I was able to scoot across the hall to ask a colleague to do me a favour....and now I can honestly report that the pie was totally DELICIOUS and was thoroughly enjoyed

tee hee - I know some purists would say to be honest and explain my dietary restrictions - and that totally makes sense with family and friends I have to deal with on a regular basis - but no WAY am I going to turn down a sweet offer from a kid who is trying to make me happy :-)
