Default Study Suggests Fructose Could Drive Alzheimer's Disease

Quote:
“We make the case that Alzheimer’s disease is driven by diet,” said the study’s lead author Richard Johnson, MD, professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine specializing in renal disease and hypertension. The study co-authors include Maria Nagel, MD, research professor of neurology at the CU School of Medicine.

Johnson and his team suggest that AD is a harmful adaptation of an evolutionary survival pathway used in animals and our distant ancestors during times of scarcity.

They get excited about cellular pathways instead of treating it with diet NOW.

Because it’s no longer medicine. It’s the drug business. And what I’m finding out about medical education indicates that’s become something that doesn’t make them doctors, as we used to know it.

They are all becoming like the endos I would see, or try to see. I could write an app to do what they do now. Run the labs through the spreadsheet and write the usual prescriptions.
