Welcome TeeJo
You have found a great forum for information and support. Let us know how we can help. One of the first pieces of advice for a newbie is to know your plan. If you havenít read a book with a plan, I would suggest Diet Doctor website, has a great introduction to low-carb and ketogenic eating and much more:
A book, Why we get fat by Gary Taubes, explains the simple science and includes a simple Ketogenic diet in appendix.
For encouragement, join one of the buddy groups or challenges!

All the best,
