Angry Help

I am a 27 year old woman who's gained 40 pounds over the last 2 years. I have serious female problems and I'm trying to get in shape to have a baby. I need to be the healthiest I can be in order to concieve and carry a baby to term.

After reading this book, I feel really compelled to stick to it. The food is good but I really miss the breads, pastas, & junk. I'm normally about 125 pounds and need to get back there desperately. It's really depressing.

Any words of wisdom or something that really works for you? I only have about 6 months to get this off before we start trying. Help.........I'm desperate, I cannot fit into any of my clothes.

Welcome to Schwarzbein! It does work, a little slower than I want but I have never felt better. I suggest you read her book and keep it handy for reference. I stay away from damaged fats as Dr. S states that damaged fats float around like celluar debri in our bodies. I know where it floats in mine! The thighs! I stay away from processed meat and pork rinds. My weakness is sometimes I relapse with sugar (jelly beans). I strive for progress and I've lost 12 pounds since April. I've also run a 100 mile race, dayhiked Mt. Whitney two days in a row and just completed a 248 mile backpack at altitude. Mind you I use plenty of carbs when I'm running and hiking but I revert right back to Schwarzbein and it works. I really like TSP (The Schwarzbein Principle) because it's really healthy and involves whole foods. Anyway, good luck to you and stick around! Maureen
