Default Morning nausea

Once again, I turn to this forum for help and I am sure you all have lots of answers and suggestions. For those who dont know, my 12 year old daughter has hashimotos and we have recently begun to see an integrative dr. who is GREAT!!! Finally listens!! He has run extensive tests and they have shown that her adrenals arent working properly so we are addressing that with adrenal support medicine and she is getting better. He has changed her diet completely and she is eating low carb, good fats and gluten free. The problem we are finding now is morning nausea. Several mornings she throws up or just feels really bad before and after eating. He says low morning blood sugar and she is eating something at night to carry her over but it is still bad. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Is she taking any pills on an empty stomach in the AM? One time I had nausea every morning and it was something in a multivitamin doing it. I started taking it with my meals and I was fine.

it could be the adrenal fatigue that is causing the nausea. does the doctor have her on a support with cortisone? if it isn't enough her adrenals may produce even less cortisol in the morning which could cause nausea.

She eats her breakfast first and then takes the pills but sometimes she is nauseated before she even eats and therefore doesnt want to eat. She isnt on cortisol but has been taking cytozyme ad, adaptocrine and adrenacalm for the last 3 months. He did new blood work and all her cortisol is slowly rising but is still pretty low in the am.

I have low cortisol in the AM too, but ironically, that's when I feel best during the day!
