Default When life gives you lemons...

If you flavor your water, do you count it as your water for the day, or another beverage on top of your water. Some days, I just want the taste of tea, so I take a 32 oz fountain drink cup and fill it with 1/2 iced tea, 1/2 water and a sweet 'n low. I was wondering, do I still need another 64 oz of water for the day, or does this count?

Also like lemon wedges with sweet 'n low and water - count as a drink or as part of my water?

thanks

I count tea towards my H2O total.

I do not count coffee or soda as water consumption though.

If it's really diluted tea, I'd count it as water. If you're drinking a more concentrated tea or anything that contains significant caffiene, I wouldn't, since caffiene is dehydrating.

If it's essentially water anyway, with just a little bit of added sweetner, then yeah, I'd count it as water. Coffee, tea and other beverages I wouldn't count towards my water intake.
