Default Bacon Veggie Casserole

I ran across this recipe that I had forgotten about...a friend gave me this years ago.....I used to make it until I started feeling bad about the amount of fat.....(back in my WW days!)

Does this sound like it's legal for LC?

Bacon Veggie Casserole

4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drain and reserve drippings
4 stalks green onion, slice thin
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 teas celery salt
2 1/2 C Monterey Jack cheese
8 large eggs, well beaten
3/4 C heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste

Crumble bacon, saute onions and mushrooms in drippings.
Combine all, pour into greased 2 qt casserole.
Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.

serves 6

That's all the info I have on it.... I guess I need to find out how many carbs....how can I do that?

Let me know if you think it's ok for LC...

Thanks

Sounds great, Renee!

If you feed all the ingredients into www.fitday.com you'll have a carb count. Hint: save the recipe stats as a custom food, so in future you won't have to feed in each ingredient.

Cheers, matey.
