The Cheese Question...
Hi,
I've been on a Yeast elimination diet for the last two weeks...no dairy except butter, kefir and yogurt. I'm not sure if it's working to keep the Candida in check, but I was wondering - is cream cheese REALLY that bad? I'm really missing it. Does it have enough lactose in it to feed the yeasties? Has anyone tried reintroducing small amounts of bacterial culture cheeses like cream cheese or quark? I figure if yogurt is "OK" for some, then cheese should be too? Or should I just eliminate dairy all together...oh the willpower that would take. Thanks.
