Default Candida and Endo

I'm reading a book on endometriosis and its talking about the relationship between allergies and endo. Now I'm curious about a anti candida diet. It sounds alot like the Atkin's Diet (which I have tried). And that seems to explain why I may have been feeling so much better after trying Atkin's.

Is there a specific diet to follow for candida or can I use alot of the Atkin's guidelines?

Look at the sticky at the top of this forum. It has a lot of resources with several websites to visit-
You have to cut out foods with fungus like properties cheese and mushrooms and all other dairy except yogurt.
I didn't know there was a connection with endometreosis-interesting.

Have you read the Yeast Connection by William Crook? I read the book from the library and ending up buying it! It makes so much sense for me. I suffered from everything from allergies to adenmyosis. I ended up getting an hysterectomy before reading it and have changed my diet drastically first with Atkins and modifying with the candida diet.

I have adenmyosis too... along with PCS and fibroids....and am postponing a full hysterectomy as long as possible.
I'll check out the sticky and the book!

I don't think I'm going to get to keep mine because of the endometriosis. I'm hoping but I doubt it. The doc wants me to wait as long as possible since I'm young.

Hi Deathian:
I know you have a lot going on with your health but thought this one piece may be of interest to you.

Mayo Clinic recently found a connection between endometriosis and candida infections. Now, that is food for thought isn't it? I keep this information in my head because I was once diagnosed (now years ago) with endo and some endo professionals don't believe you really ever get "rid" of it.
