Hello Everyone.

My name is Gennifer. I found this support group for low carb. I was looking for a support group other than facebook. I have done low carb before about two years ago. Did very well then life happened and I got off track. I am restarting. Ready to lose this weight and be healthy again.

Welcome! Im not a FB user either.

On this forum, it is a bit on the quiet side if you are used to the chaos of other places. Lots of thoughtful low carbers here. Lots of experience to share, too.

welcome Gennifer - this for sure isn't facebook - not better or worse just different. Also there's a very small population of folks here that post but that makes it kind of homey and comfortable - asking any question is not off base and you'll also not be confronted with 10,000 opinions - maybe 5 . Welcome Gennifer. I'm also aiming for 20g carb or fewer per day most days. I might cycle that up and down a bit as I recall from before that it can help to break my plateaus sometimes. It'll be good to look at your menus
