Well, I missed my last strength training session on Saturday. No worries, I'll do it right next week. Sunday was my planned day off.

Today:

20 squats
20 lunges
20 crunches

Meant to do three sets this time, but I did these midday at school and could only get through two. Pre-lunch fatigue? Lack of focus? Not sure. Hmm.

Yes, I am back on the exercise bandwagon, helped along by a little contest at school. I am counting this as Tuesday's entry, since I thought I had posted it yesterday but apparently it didn't show up. Hmm.

My poor old Gazelle is starting to get squeaky again. I think it's time to find a new one!

Found a newer-model Gazelle on Freecycle yesterday. It's still a bit noisy, but it's so much smoother than the old one! Plus it has added resistance I can use later. It kicks my butt plenty as-is though!

Did some quick upper body strength training at school today with my resistance bands:

25 forward presses
20 tricep extensions

All the same resistance because I didn't have enough time to change out the bands. Still, it's better than nothing, especially since I overslept and didn't get onto the Gazelle this morning.

30 reps of increasing resistance (12/10/8):
-curls
-standing rows
-chest presses
-lunges

I think this is going to be my usual routine for strength training days. HIIT cardio tomorrow!
