144.4. I had a nice moment today though-- I had to go to the doctor and when he weighed me I was less than 150, even fully dressed and after breakfast. Hah!

Doxie- how'd the steak day go?

RDWRTR: What does a day's worth of food look like? I am having trouble getting stable and don't think I am cheating. Thanks for any info.

A day's worth of food for me looks like a P2 day but with a lot more food. I usually eat two meals and maybe a snack. Lunch might be a big salad with steak or chicken, and then dinner is meat and a couple of vegetables. I've been averaging 20 - 40 carbs a day and around 1500 - 1600 calories (which is a lot less than before I started HCG). For being a 52 year old female though, I have kind of a speedy metabolism. I was maintaining around 150 pounds on 2500 calories a day, 60 - 100 grams of carb.

Today I was at 146, but I noticed yesterday I had a lot less, uh, output, shall we say. Warning-- TMI-- but for most of P2 and the first week of P3, I had diarrhea almost every day. On the few days I didn't, I had a weight gain the next day. Given that, I think I'm going to stabilize around 144 - 147, for a loss of 5 - 8 pounds. Which I'm still happy about. Also, I finally feel so much better. And my last year's jeans are now too big!

145.6. Weird because I was hungry all day yesterday (and ate a lot more too). Not hungry at all today so I'm going with it. Still feel really good though.

Neither...it's cream cheese, eggs, butter, Designer Whey protein powder, 4 tbs flax meal,2 tbs pesto, baking powder.

1 8 oz package cream cheese, 2 scoops protein powder, 4 eggs, 1 tsp baking powder, 2 tbs butter, salt and spices (I used pesto for a savory waffle)...use vanilla protein powder and berries and or stevia if you want sweet waffles. I use a mixer and mix it on high until smooth...add 2 heaping TBS's of batter for each square waffle...you should get 10-12 waffles from this. They freeze very well. I use them for burger buns too. And I have used them for strawberry shortcake as well.... I toast them first for the blt's.

**Use spray olive oil on your waffle iron or you might regret it.

by the end of the day I lost more bloat...184.6

Really not hungry at all...barely ate today. Cooked for my client and was not tempted by any of it...I even spit out the potato I had to test for doneness in his stew.

I have realized that I do not want to do P2 any longer than 3 weeks again...I did the last round way too long and denied my body too many nutrients for too long.....I have a feeling I will keep losing if I stick with mostly carnivore and limited full fat dairy.

It's the welcome lunch for new Culinary students today....I will most likely not eat most of it...but I will taste it to be polite. I have a nice full container of bloody rare roast beef...

Hey ya'll Stoppin by to check in.

Weight 180.2 I'm down 30.4 lbs on the combined rounds of 1 & 2. This is the most weight I have ever lost.

My order for my Gluten Free baking should be here today. I ordered coconut flour and GF oat flour. I have a lot of recipes I'm dying to try. I also ordered more of these things yesterday especially the GF chocolate chip cookies. I would give anything to have a Whole Foods Market or Sun Market near me. I made Flax Crax the day before..turned out pretty tasty.

Have a good day everyone!

P3 is not the time to introduce starches/sugars, from what I understand - and as I read your entry, Shell, I fear that you will fall into the same trap I did. I royally f*cked up P3 by eating starch and sugar too soon, and I have to wonder if it made my cravings and addicitve behaviour much, much worse.
