FYI, Gatorade has a new sugar free option. Or you can make your own.

I keep Gatorade on hand in my emergency kit for farm animals, and sick kids. Otherwise no no no, just another sugary drink.

Maybe it's because you got up and moved around to get the salt? Try a placebo next time - that would shoot down my theory

Pedialyte is great for weak calves too. I've saved a couple with it. A few ounces and 30 minutes and they're up on their feet, works like magic!
