Default grilled salmon

here goes my first recipe posting. i am eating this right now and i realized how much i love it and thought i would share.

first take some aluminum foil and spread some mayonnaise on it. then place your salmon fillet skin side down on the mayo. (this helps the fish stay moist and when you are done cooking it the skin stays on the foil and the meat slides right off.

then sprinkle on the fish any or all of the following:
garlic salt
onion powder
black pepper
dill
lemon pepper seasonings
italian seasonings

then the thing that makes this so good:
sprinkle liberally some parmesan cheese and dabble a little worcestershire sauce over it all

close up the aluminum foil and grill 15-30 min depending on how thick your fillet is.

hope you like it.

Thumbs up

Mmm...thanks, acipenser! I'm eating it as we speak! I'd gone to Wallyworld today looking for lox and found it had been d/c'd. But, they had an overstock of fresh salmon on sale at $1.98 lb! This is so good I may have to go back and get more!

I did it with garlic powder and let it grill on low...make you wanna slap yer mamma! (Southern for really good!!) I'm sure this could be done in an oven as well for those who don't have a grill.
