Hi, what a great website! I'm hoping someone can help me with ideas for my packed lunches. Summer has been no problem, I've used leftover chicken, tuna etc with tomato and cucumber, capsicums and a little mayonaisse to make a tasty salad. But with our summer drawing to a close I'm beginning to panic!!! Hope someone can help!
Thanks,
Elaine
leftovers!! soups and stews always taste better the next day anyway; seeing as your just entering winter.
sorry. hahahahahaha!!! it's spring here. we suffered all winter while you, down under, where enjoying summer. oh well, such is life!! no offense intended!
i like to mix finely chopped iceburg lettuce and sunflower seeds into my tuna salads. give it a try. it makes a really nice crunch.
Thanks for your reply Debbie. Ok Ok, rub it in, we are getting ready for winter while you're taking your bikini out of mothballs!!
My problem is Debbie, if Im away for lunch I have no heating facilities. So I need something filling that doesn't need reheating. Any ideas?
Elaine
Your message rang a bell for me. I remembered seeing a post from Doreen and Sharon with a bunch of good ideas a few weeks ago. I did a search and here is the link. At least I hope it works! If not try doing a search with the word 'lunch'. It was posted on January 31, 2001 and the title was Lunches
Hi Sue,
Thanks for the link - great selection there! My problem has always been - I find something I like which is quick and easy, and then I have nothing else!! Soon becomes toooooo boring! I'll have no excuse now - thank you.
