Default Tomatillo - Avocado Salsa

Looked at all the recipes on the internet and slimmed them down to make this salsa:

1 ripe avocado, flesh only
1 pound or less of roast tomatillos
5 cloves of roast garlic
1 roasted jalapeno
1 loosely packed cup of chopped cilantro (fresh)
4T or so or purple onion
juice of 1 lime
squirt of walnut oil (or your preference)
salt

put all of this in a food processor and puree.


*** I roasted the tomatillos, garlic and jalapeno in the oven until roasted, blackened and soft.

Sounds absolutely delicious, tomatillos are just starting to ripen.
just one question!what is cilantro?

Cilantro is aka coriander leaves.

did you fry the tomatillos in olive oil to roast them?
Or did you roast them in the oven?

Jalapenos aren't ripe yet but got some bottled ones in oil from last year.
