Are sugar free drink mixes ok during Atkins induction? I'm getting conflicting information.

In Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution, he says, "you must determine which sweeteners agree with you, but the following are allowed:" .... I won't list all, but he discourages aspartame in crystal light, not because it will stall you, but he questioned safety. It's been over a decade since the book was written, so there might be more studied on safety with this ingredient, I don't know.

Having said all that, artificial sweeteners can interfere with weight loss for some people. I myself have had aspartame in crystal light and Diet Coke for the three plus months I've been low carb (in moderation) with no problem. You will have to test it and see how it works for you.

Crystal Light -- it's the 's work!
It can raise your blood pressure too like Coke Zero if you have an issue with that.
