I get nasty diarhea with Splenda. I think it depends on your system. If your system already has issues, I would imagine something like that could irritate it.
I get the impression that most people are fine with Splenda, just some have issues.

Totally failed to realize I was replying to an 8-year-old thread, heh.

No really - it was resurrected by a new poster (Edie1) who wrote she was having problems, so responding to her was a kindness!!

I drank a lot of red wine on my bad day. I was okay a few days after and then one afternoon - not good And it just got worse. Along with the multi-vitimans, I recently purchased some of the psyllium husk capsules...seemed those helped people from what I read on here as well. I don't know too much about this divericulosus condition...but those symptoms sounded a little like how I felt. That scares me... so I'll see how I do for the next few weeks. I know I also ate too much cheese. I was still losing weight so I had not been concerned. But I plan to moderate in the days to come, following the diet more strictly. Hoping to continue long term. But I really want yogurt. I can't eat yogurt, can I?

On Atkins (DANDR 2002) you can eat yogurt once you reach the second OWL level/rung!

One good reason for not staying on induction too long

Candyboots resurrected it in 2009 for the same reason. Happens all the time on another board I like... I always

It's nice that people use the search function, and nicer still that they add to an existing thread rather than keep starting new ones, but it would be really, really super-nice if they noted in their resurrection post that the OP is old, because it avoids people replying to the OP (at least for people who read all the posts in a thread before replying... er, that would be 10% of them? )

Thanks for replying to this (old post) I just searched the issues I was having and then jumped right in. Didn't even look at the date. I do appreciate your replies though... that's what it's all about Next time I will indicate the timeline.
