Default former success with atkins, back in the saddle again

Hi everyone, making a new start for a new life ! I lost quite a bit of weight doing Atkins about 8 years ago, lost lots of weight and kept if off for 3 years.............

the bad news is I've gained it all back, a story we've all heard millions of times. I had just about given up but I just can't take not living my life anymore, feeling too fat to do anything, go anywhere and having major anxiety/panic attacks when I have to do anything public. Well I dragged out all my old books, Atkins New Revolution and my Dana Carpender 500 low carb recipes and guess what???

I'm ALL FIRED UP ! I started yesterday, I'm on day 2 and feeling good (a bit tired) but I know that within a few days I'm going to get that HUGE burst of energy and will have burned up the last of the stored carbs on my fat butt !!

good luck to everyone and lets do this together !

Vivaglam, I wish you much success. I too had lost a lot of weight (over 50lbs) and gained it all back. But not with Atkins, but with Nutrisystem. I've been doing lowcarb now for about 8 months and couldn't be happier. This is a total lifestyle change for me. It has also helped reduce my high blood pressure significantly. Good luck to you!
