Default Parmesan Crisps

Okay, my very first post in the recipies department.
This is something I loved even before LC

On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper place 6 small piles of parm cheese. Spread the piles out so they are nice and thin. Make sure they aren't touching each other tho.
Then season with garlic, powder or real bits of garlic, black pepper or fresh herbs, really whatever you like.
Bake in a 425' oven for about 10 minutes or until just golden brown on the edges.
Take them too far golden and they just taste burnt so watch them carefully.
Hope you all enjoy them!
Jamie

PS I make them as part of my italian night. Usually with Itl. wedding soup and roasted veggies. I'll list the soup on another thread

I've tried these, but they stick to the parchment paper, can't get them off

should I spray first or use a sill-pat?

does anyone think these would work if you mixed some flax meal with the cheese and spices?

I might try and see what happens

If they stick then you can spray it or you can use a sil pat.
The almond idea sounds good, but I am not sure about the flax. Let me know how it turns out if you try it.
I hope you all enjoy!

I know this post is old but thought I would ask is there a certain type of parm that you should use? I tried doing this using the kraft shaker kind and they burnt and were gross. Do you need to grate fresh parm>?

I never used the Kraft stuff. I buy it in the triangle and shred it myself. Much, much better tasting and works well in the oven.
