Amy,

Good for you! You are doing so well. I hope I can get as committed as you are! Sounds like you are losing weight....before you know it you'll be at goal. I'm struggling and hope I can get back into it.

Default Sunday's Exercise

I took yesterday off and I wasn't planning on going today, but I had lots of frustration to release. It felt good and I feel better now, except for my shin. It is only on the left leg. I think this week I'll cut back on my running.

Wt: 167 - drank margaritas last night

Cardio: Running: 5.0 - 1 mile, 5.1 - 1 mile, 5.3 - 1 mile
D: 3 miles

Amy

Unhappy Wednesday: Knee Pain - going to M.D. tomorrow

I'm taking today off b/c my left leg is hurting again! I am seeing a sports medicine doctor tomorrow to make sure it's nothing serious. I might do some abs or weights later though, but no cardio until I get the ok from the doctor.

Angry Stress fracture

According to the doctor, I probably have an early stress fracture of my left tibia. The x-ray was normal, but he says these types of fractures are difficult to see. I am scheduled for a bone scan next week to be sure. But based on his exam he feels it is fractured. I can barely walk on it, so no exercise for 3 days and I think I'm going to lose it! He says I could try cycling, but if that hurts then I could try swimming. If swimming hurts, then on to couch potato. This is so frustrating! I think I will try the gym on Monday. I'll try the bike first and if I can't do that, I'll try the new aqua aerobics. Definitely no running or power walking for several weeks.

I need to stop feeling sorry for myself and do some type of floor exercise. I could be doing my abs and upper body still as long as I don't put any weight on my lower body.
