Default iberico ham?

is this ok?

ive bought some on an online shop but couldnt see the nutritional content.

ive read its like the best ham you can buy but says that its got a sweet taste. so just worried itll have sugar of some kind in it? i know its really salty as i always eat it at work but now im worried its got sugar in even though ive already eaten so much of it.

From what I remember Jamon Iberico gets a lot of its flavor from the pig's diet of acorns and the heavy dose of sea salt in the curing process. But looking it up one of the importers for the US lists it at 2g of carbohydrates per 28g for that particular brand due to the sugar in the seasoning mix.
So depending on how many slices you have, it could add up.
Hard stuff to find over here though, and definitely pricey.

Hope that helps a bit.

it came this morning! it says 0.5g per 100g so thats ok! i can see salt grains on it though which is upsetting. has like 5g salt per 100g which is a lot right?

tastes nice but the one we have at work is an actual whole leg rather than the sliced one i got delivered and the leg is a lot better when its being cut off fresh
