Inflammation does not care what pant size you are.

But that is not an easy concept to explain to the never-had-a-weight-problem people. They think it’s them being sensible to get that way and why can’t we do that?

It’s so easy for them to do.

Years ago I had a long drawn out LAN line argument with my brother. It left its mark in my memory. He said he knew what it was like and had studied to be a couselor for the bariatric patients-- he had to work at getting 15 pounds off.

He will NOT understand until he personally must fight to remove 50-75- 125 pounds.... he is a know-it-all........ who knows nothing useful about obesity and weight loss.

Even more years ago had a PhD whos father was a Nobel Prize winner in Physiology, and she herself a very respected researcher in physiology... tell me to eat one less quarter of margarine a week..... and that would help my weight loss. That was in the 1970's, and when I quit trying to diet as I was a complete failure.

Today, thanks to the forum, I have learned about the growing number of PhD and MD that are leading the LC charge.

The UK has already changed its stance on LC; THe ADA has also changed. This IS huge. Just keep this ball rolling.
