Default Carrying around a cinder block

This morning, I finally made it in the 270’s. I’ve lost a total of 33 pounds since January 6.

Did you know that a cinder block weighs 33 pounds?

Hard to believe I was abusing my body carrying around that every day all day long.

Well done. It's amazing that we cope, when we put the amount of weight lost or to lose into something concrete.

It's weird tho how the body can do it, it helps that the fat, water and muscle are distributed so that it can. We are a marvel of nature; Thin, Thick or Other.

NIkiRenee ---that helps to really see how much weight you have lost. For me it was sacks of horse or dog feed. When I thought of how hard it was for me to lift and carry a 50 pound bag of horse feed, it really brought it home how much weight was off of my body. I've lost almost 90 pounds so it was about the equivalent of losing two sacks of horse feed. I could not carry two 50 pound bags of feed at once, even one bag was hard for me so you can imagine how much relief my body felt after 90 pounds were gone. Such relief to my feet and knees.

Just thinking about picking up two 50 pound bags of feed and trying to walk with it really makes you think......that much weight is off of my body!

Keep up the loss.....you will feel better and lighter and your joints will let you know that they appreciate it!

This was last year, incidentally. But it's still interesting that a cinder block weighs 33 lbs. I'm going to remember that when I get there.

I really like this! Instead of thinking of having to lose over 100 lbs, I'm just going to think about it in cinder blocks. I'm just going to plan on getting rid of 1 cinder block, and after that maybe another, etc.
