Unhappy Feeling guilty....again

I went out to eat yesterday with the husband and one of his friends. I was going to get the grilled chicken salad, but at the last minute ordered the one thing that I have been craving for months now. A rueben. For those of you that don't know, it is a corned beef on rye with saurekrat and thousand island dressing. It was wonderful. I drank two glasses of water with it, and ate no other carbs the rest of the day. I ate two pork steaks for supper with diet soda, and for breakfast before hand, I had two scrambled eggs with shrimp and cheddar. I don't feel sick, but I feel like I cheated. I did notice extreme carb cravings most of the evening, but I can fight those off easily, even though the kids and husband ordered pizza for supper. How bad am I?? Normally I have such good will power, but that rueben was just calling my name!!!

don't go beating yourself up, you had a slip up, you're HUMAN!! Move on from this, know that you might just crave for a while as a result, but if you pull it back again and be cereful over the next few days you'll be fine! You've come so far to this point....you know what you gotta do girl!
(((hugs)))

Why was it a cheat? You had something you really wanted, you enjoyed it thoroughly, and then you moved on to healthier foods. I think that's great! Feel good that you are able to indulge a bit and then get back to taking care of yourself.
