Wink IBS-D Will low carb help?

I have heard so much about low carb helping people with ibs-d and thier symptoms. I am taking Librium and lomotil for anxiety and urgency issues. I was just wondering who on here has had these same issues and started the low carb and has seen improvement in their condition? I usually eat no meat or high fat. An example of my day is
Breakfast : 1 blueberry waffle plain nothing on it
Lunch : Rice or spaghetti noodles with some smart balance and salt
Dinner: Pancake or tortilla with avocado in it
Snacks were tostillos, pretzels maybe half of a bagel with peanut butter.
Usually I ate the same things everyday. So I am wanting to try this out but just switching my eating seems so tramatic to me. Any advice or similar stories would help.
