Smile Schwarzbein Principle Newbie

Hey everyone!!!

I'm going to try and follow the Schwarzbein Principle... It sounds straightforward. And I do need a life style change, not a temporary diet that will have me on a rollercoaster ride.

150 lbs is the upper end of my recommended weight range. That is where I was before I went on the anti-depressant Paxil... Now I weigh 208 lbs (size 18)... I'm being weaned off my crutch called Paxil and I'm more than ready to get my weight back under control.

And what is cool is the Schwarzbein Principle addresses mood issues... It really sounds like it is a whole body approach. So I've taken the bait.

I've only lurked a few days but this place sure does look like a good support system.

Hi there 2, welcome!

This is a great board, with loads of info, including some great recipes.

Do check out the orange bar at the top of the screen - especially Low Carb Tips.

All the best to you!

Default A trolling I will go

Thanks Rosebud - I'll check out those low Carb recipes... Carbs are my weak link so I'll have to do alot of relearning in that area... Bread and potatoes... I love them so. At least I don't have to totally abstain from them.

I have been trolling through the journals and the success stories. Great motivation!

2 Fat, I am doing the same thing you are but I am also taking the vitamins from www.womentowomen.com.
These will help balance your hormones (serotonin) and maybe allow you to completely get off your meds. Check it out!
