I no longer by the pre packaged stuff period. I buy natural peanut butter from my grocery store. It's peanuts in a machine and you push a button and out comes the nut butter. I also like almond butter as well. Not sure of the nutritional info I looked the first time I bought it and never looked again but it was about the same as all the other natural peanut butters people are listing.

I use President's Choice brand natty PB, which can be found in various chains in both Canada and the US. It's wonderful and has no sugar and no sugar alcohols. If you stir it well when you use it the first time, it doesn't separate later (store in the fridge). The texture is very smooth--just like the hydrogenated trans fat kind. I tried the carb options kind, and found it too sweet.

Natural tastes great. The only problem is the consistency. I fixed that by beating in [with a mixer] 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil + 1 Tbsp Palm Oil and then putting it in the fridge. No more oil separation and the consistency is perfect. Just be carefull, as it is very easy to send PB flying when you turn on the mixer.

Natural PB (Meaning peanuts and salt, that's IT) is the way to go. Mix in a bit of splenda to taste and avoid the transfat!
