I haven't read this entire thread. Sorry everyone, I know you have dispensed great advice, I just want to quickly reply.

I am in year 2 of LCing. It's taken me that long to get my Trigs down to a level that my doctor liked. It's still high but so much better than I was so I just want to say it may take awhile. I'm posting what I posted in my journal for you to see:

Doctor report...OMG! I was told that I don't have to see her but yearly. Sugar was 93, BP 120/78, Cholesterol is still high, but my Trig actually went down too. From 471 in 2013 before diet and even taking pills to 160 two months into diet, to 142 in March, 2015 to 87 on 9/28/15. After getting this report, I'm so happy even if I'm at 166 lbs and not moving the scale. I am so much healthier than I was before. So THERE Diet Experts that ignore this way or eating!!
