Default Weighed in at the Dr's Office

They took my weight at the doctor's office this morning. 247. It would be amazing to lose 100 pounds. But even losing enough to be 170 would be great. Right now I'm eating scrambled eggs with onions and green pepper. I just don't think I have the body type to be able to eat many carbs and stay at a good weight. Yesterday I made French Toast with rye bread from Walmart. I also have a few slices of keto bread left from Sam's. I will try to use that more often. Seems easier than making chaffles. Thanks!

Well done!! You've found what works for you!!

Chaffles freeze pretty well if you make a batch. Or refrigerate extras.

The Brownberry Keto bread is my favorite. You can find it at Walmart usually. It often sells out so I must not be the only one who appreciates it.

Welcome back brightli - for what it's worth, I'm avoiding all wheat things for 90 days to see how it goes. I don't get along well when I add wheat to my diet (like low carb wraps and stuff)

Hoping you find what works for YOU

Hi Brightli, I like using lc bread products - I just discovered the Aldi "Keto" hamburger rolls which seem to work really well for me, although at the moment I am using them only twice a week. They have a large amount of fiber and I guess my body tolerates them pretty well.

I've also used the Joseph's tortillas a lot while doing lc but was unhappy when the nutritional information changed about a year ago and am on the lookout for a new tortilla product. I may try the Olé Xtreme Wellness High Fiber Tortillas if I can find them. Do you happen to remember what brand the bread from Sam's is? These Keto products are all new to me, and I'm psyched to try them!
