The 28th is fine for me too

I know that we're all planningg to contribute financially, but I'd also like to bring along some foody contributions as well, if that's OK - like a New York Cheesecake and an LC Chocolate Torte for example - please let me know if you're happy with that, Lily.

Oh yes that is perfect Demi. I'm so glad the 28th is ok with everyone. WOO HOO!

I think it would be great if everyone that is sending money to PM me so I can give you my address to send it to and those bringing food just make a list and post it so I know what not to buy if you are bringing it.

Does this sound good to everyone? I appreciate everyone chipping in. Thank you!

I'm so excited!

Can't wait to see you all!

Cheers!

Hello everyone, I've already gotten one PM asking how much to send.

I'm thinking 10 pounds per person is plenty and not hard on the pocket. If we've got 10 people coming that's 100 pounds right there.

What does everyone else think about this.

Ok, off to PM that person again, I forgot to give her my address.

Cheers!

Oh almost forgot,

I've already set aside the rental of the extra table and chairs, and the canopy for outside to keep us safe from wind, rain and cold weather. Since we don't all fit inside we are extending towards our back yard. Let's pray for gorgeous weather.

We've already bought the oil for the deep fat frying of the turkey too. OH YUMMY I can taste it already.

I'm off this weekend to buy the stuff for the Prize giveaway. So if you joined that challenge and you are ahead of the game, consider youself the winner.

I'll go check in a minute.

Ok off for now.

Cheers!

Ummmm....I think everyone is bringing pretty much what they want. I'm not making many veggies so you might want to bring those. Plus it's easier to carry.

Let me know when your train comes in so Dh can go pick you up ok. We are only 5-7 minutes from the Ely train station.

Cheers!

How's everyone doing?

We are still on for the 28th right?

I need a head count this week please.

If you are coming add your name to this list and copy and paste it so others can do the same.

I'll start and I'll add names of those I know are coming:

AFwife
Demi
Tortie
LittleAnne
Kadjax
SylviaUK

Deepti and DeeUK and Alenamac are you still coming too?

Any others want to join? It's fine with me. I'll go around later and post in journals of other UK folks that I know might want to come and ask them to add there names to the list.

Hope to hear from you all by Saturday.

Time is crunching and I gotta go shopping.

Cheers!

WOO HOO CAN'T WAIT!

Anyway, thanks so much for the invite, but I will definately see you on the Monday.

I'm definitely coming

BTW, great article in the latest US edition of LowCarb Energy (Jan 2005 - vol1, issue 4) about Deep Frying the Thanksgiving Turkey - I immediately thought of you when I saw it

Hello there everyone,

I need to know how many of you are taking the train please and times you'll be arriving.

DH will be picking you all up and it would be best if you all came around the same time so he don't have to drive back and forth to station.

We are starting around 1pm - 2pm.

Hi,

Thanks for asking but I'm afraid I'm busy that day, taking son to yet another fencing competition. Hope it all goes well and you all have a great time.
