About 8 weeks into LC and I have lost 37 lbs. I started ~ 335, now am 298.
The weight came of quickly until 2 weeks ago then I stopped loosing. This past week I have lost 2lbs. Any tips on keeping the weight loss going? I notice that my appetite is almost nothing compared to when I started. Perhaps I need to eat more to speed up my metabolism?

Yesterday I had one 4oz Danon lie & fit yogurt 3 carbs, 4 slices of bacon and lots of water. I also took two vitamin caplets. For lunch I had a roasted chicken quarter, again with lots of water.
For dinner I had 2 jumbo eggs and 4 sausage patties fried in butter, with a 16oz cup of whole milk, plus lots of water.
This morning I weighted 297 a loss of 1lb from yesterday. I'm not sure if I'm eating enough for my weight, but I am not feeling much hunger at all.

Yes. Keep calm and keto on. If anything, you may be thinking about it too much.

Start thinking about new recipes. Take a stroll down the produce isle.

Be patient. 1-2 pounds a week is what is expected.

It might not affect you the same way, but I would not be able to drink a 16 oz glass of milk and sustain consistent losses-- thats 20 grams of carb in one glass, and I have found that even if its the only carb I have for the day and within/below my daily carb goal, I cant take that much in one sitting or it kicks me out of ketosis and can cause a stall or even a gain (probably a water weight gain, but still not a happy thing lol)

Congrats on reaching the 200's -- wonderful progress so far.

I lost steady for the first month or two then I fell into a pattern of long plateaus and nice drops. The longer the plateau, the nicer the drop when it finally came. I sat at the same weight for 3 or 4 weeks a couple of times. So the idea that if you are eating right your are losing fat does appear to be true. Some of us just hold on to water in its place for a time. Then the 'whoosh' happens and we get a rapid drop over a 2 or 3 day period. Learn to be chill about the scale as best you can. It is about what happens over the long haul that counts.

Are you taking BP medications? The reason I ask is that I recently got off of mine and my pattern of weight loss has changed. I seem to lose a little every week to 10 days these days rather than go 15 to 30 days without a loss. I'm wondering if my BP meds might have had something to do with those long plateaus.

Keep up the great work!

you are doing splendidly. not every week is the same, and 1-2lbs per week should be satisfactory, for anyone.

This past week after reading many posts in the forums, I increased my fat intake and am loosing again. I'm now 293. I have also cut out the milk. My blood pressure is around 140/88,a little high but I am not taking any drugs. The problem I have is that my appetite is very low and I don't want to loose Muscle tissue. I have to force feed fat to myself.

Have you tried coconut oil? Very nice straight off the spoon!

I am using coconut oil. I am frying my food in it and adding a spoonful to my coffee.

I have broken out of my stall and am loosing weight again since adding more fat to my food, mostly coconut oil. My problem is that I still feel sluggish and lack energy. I keep reading posts from others who talk of how great they feel eating HFLC, and keep waiting for this feeling to kick in. I am thinking about eating more salads, but worry about adding more carbs. Anyone else encounter this?

You've lost a lot of weight in just a few months. Perhaps you are pushing the envelope a little too hard. It would be helpful if you tracked what you typically eat for a few days and let us know. It would be nice to know your daily carb counts and Fat/Protein/Carb ratios. I use the "My Plan" feature on this web sight to do my tracking. Not everything I eat is in there and sometimes I need to pick something similar to what I eat just to get me close to the actual totals. It is not perfect, but it is helpful to track what I eat.

A few months back I was pushing a little too hard on this diet. I was not eating enough and I was starting to ramp up the exercise. I did start feeling drained and my recovery time after a walk was clearly not as optimal as it had been when I was eating more. So I tweaked what I was doing and added about 500 calories a day to my diet. That made a world of difference and I've still continued to lose weight. It is just not quite at the rate I was losing before.

It is also important to make sure you are getting enough salt. When I was at a weight plateau, I generally felt pretty good. But when I started a whoosh cycle, I would feel crapy for a few days. I actually got to the point where I could tell I was going to see results on the scale when the 'icky' feeling started to hit me. It was kind of like the Atkin's flu. A little extra salt did help me feel better.

Consider starting a journal. It is a great way for you to record the history of your journey and it gives us a place to communicate with you with tips and support.
