So glad you like it! I became aware of the quote when the tennis player, Stan Wawrinka, won his first Grand Slam tournament. (He has it tattooed on his arm.) He won two more after that. Rare air in the tennis world these days. Proof it works!

Rounding up to 150 even though today's weigh-in showed 149.4 (which was a 1.6# drop from my last weigh-in post on MFP). I don't want to round the number down LOL. This doesn't give me an unfair advantage, does it? 'Cause I'm not competing with you all.

So glad this is not like some of the other "lose 5#" challenge threads which ended when the first person participating lost the 5#. I'm only in competition with myself when it comes to weight loss, personal bests, and the like.

I'm now only 15# away from my goal weight! I'll reevaluate when I reach 135.

That works !! You compete with just yourself.

I found it too easy to lose the same 5 pounds.....I have that down to the same 3 pounds. I started this thread when I hit 225 for the first time in years..... will see 224 eventually.....

Yup, up-down, up-down is normal....water can be a lot of weight, just one reason to gain.

Recently, I was trying to drop sooooo hard that I stopped drinking water and was getting dehydrated to get the scale to move DOWN.......led to a few problems...... Better to allow for the up downs.

Didn't post yesterday's, which was 151.4, so down 0.2, a piffling amount. So tired of seeing a flat line on my weight chart.
