Default 12 Pounds in a week?????

Is it possible for me (at 336lbs and 15 year olds) in Week 2 of Atkins to lose 12 lbs in...FIVE DAYS?!? I checked on two scales and both said I was around 324

Yes, it is possible. Induction kind of kicks your body into weight loss mode. Your youth is an advantage here. And those who have more weight to lose tend to lose more in the first two weeks (I say tend to, because I only lost 4 in my induction!). Great going so far and enjoy the loss! Keep up the good work!

Yes, it is possible as you are living proof. I also lose weight quickly at times. I have lost as much as 15 pounds in one week in the beginning but I hold a lot of fluid and I was very overweight. I lost 40 pounds the first month I started and they said that was very unusual. I just think it was because of my weight. But.......great going! Keep up the good work. Weight loss of 2 pounds a week is a healthy goal to achieve. But....you "younguns" will lose it quicker than us "olders" (me). Again....congrats!
