Hello Elizabeth ... May your year be blessed and successful on your eating plan. You sound like me ... emotional eater. I had a very good 2009 weight-loss wise, but it is a daily struggle ... so I ask the Lord for some peace in my heart about it all this year. Of course I do hope to lose more and I am going to make a new, lower goal once I reach the current one... but it is bothering my sensibilities this winter. I see you are in phoenix so at least you are warmer and sunnier!!! The cold grey new england winters really make me tired and cranky! I also love two furbabies (calico kitties) and they always make my day.

((((hugs)))))

Hi Everyone!

I'm starting with LC again tomorrow. Bought Jennifer Eloff's book and some almond, flour wheat pastry flour, oat bran, etc. so I can make some of the bread recipes. I think my mistake in the past was going too low on carbs becausae my thyroid crashed. This time around I'm going to try 30 carbs a day. That way I can have a serving of fruit and some LC bread. I will stay under 2000 calories to start and see how it goes. I pray the love of the Lord "arrests" you today!

Hey Prof...I remember you from years ago. Back now, and doing CALP. It seems too good to be true really, hope I can continue to eat the great recipes in the book and still lose weight!

How is everyone here doing? Anybody reading the one year bible? I started that in January, and it is awesome! As soon as I think I can't take anymore of the O.T. it changes to the New and then a proverbs and psalms!

Loriann!! How are things going for ya? I hope all is well. And I truly hope things are looking up for you.

Good luck with the CALP program!

Me? I started counseling with a friends Pastor recently. There are a few things I was in need of help with and I am addressing them now. It is really nice to be able to talk with someone and not keep trying to do it alone. And he has also helped me correct the set of values and information I was running on all these many years.

Hi

I should have thought to post here earlier, but some of us are going to fast together from Thursday evening till Saturday evening (for me, that's before the Maundy Thursday service till after the Easter vigil service). Feel free to join us on the Intermittent fasting challenge thread, if you'd like.
