wow, anyone still around?

Just wondering how you are all doing, espicially some folks we haven't seen here in a while. Loriann and Karen come to mind.

Anyone is welcome to respond here, devout Christian or those who have questions or are curious.....or anyone who just wants a buddy who won't dump on them.

Helo: I just joined today. Trying to get up the courage to weight myself and start a journal. May include a devotional and prayer support. Very interested in carb cycling this time. Great success to you!

Thank you. I pray you all have great success with your WOE. Please pray for me. Tomorrow I am starting JUDD. My Up day will be pretty much what I have been doing LC but with added fruit and extra veggies. I'm going to the health food store for a good green shake for my 14 days induction.

It makes me so happy to see others get saved. At church when someone comes forward to accept Christ as their saviour it brings me to tears of joy. I just cannot help myself, I just feel so wonderful for them.

Please pray me and my family recover from this terrible flu soon. I thought it would just be a 24 hour bug. It's been several days and it's still hanging around. Thank you!

I am also moved to that point when I listen to this one certain version of "I Can Only Imagine"

Get plenty of rest, take high quality supplements of Vitamin C, Vitamin B Complex and lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole foods. And water, lot's and lot's of water! This worked for me in the past. Though I have been fortunate enough to not have had the flu for years, I would now pound the Mona Vie instead of eating fruit.

It also helps to just tell yourself, "I do not get sick. The good Lord has blessed me with wonderful health and the wisdom to eat right and take care of myself. I don't get sick." I believe that once one believes things like this about themselves, it does become true, subconsciously.

My wife thinks I am nuts and have a screw loose, but I don't get sick. Actually I haven't been sick since before I began low carbing. Being proactive and preventative is way more effective than trying to cure. An ounce of prevention always beats a pound of cure.

Prayers sent, you can never have too many of 'em.

Thank you. Better today. The crummy symptoms resolved, but feeling weak. Have been on day three of JUDD diet and trying to combine it with LC. So far, so good. Well not LC but moderate levels of healthy carbs. Don't know if there are any threads here for JUDD. Thank you for your prayers.
