This is my 3rd time using Chantix...the last two worked very well for me...i stopped smoking and lost the urge to smoke but only started back because I quit taking the Chantix and smoked because I wanted to not because I couldnt help myself...I used stress or whatever for an excuse...but anyway this time...because ive got so many other health issues, ive got to do this...ive got to or I know I KNOW i wont be here to see my little one grow up...Im killing myself with these things!!!

Anyway id love to come here for support from yall and give my support to others as well...

I took Chantix for a month early in 2007. While it did not make me nauseated, it sure did make me feel awful! Although I managed to go a month without smoking, I felt so horrible the entire time that I finally just said to heck with it and started to smoke again.

I was on Chantix twice, last time was for 3 months and just ended it on 8/11. First time I quit for 1 yr. and had a dumbass attack and started again, smoked for 3 months and went back on chantix, not smoked for 1 1/2 months now. It's still a daily struggle, but it passes. I did have some nausea, only because I didn't eat before taking it. I would suggest you eat alot before you take it. Good Luck to all, just remember, you didn't start smoking overnight, don't think you can quit overnight. ( i smoked for 31 years, and i'm 43 years old, it was a way of life not just a bad habit)
