Question Less Meals=More Fat Burned?

We all know that eating 6 meals a day is something that has been advocated by fitness enthusiasts and bodybuilders alike. However, if one is following a low-carb plan, wouldn't it make more sense to eat 3 meals a day? You see, the whole idea of eating 6 meals a day is to keep blood sugar and insulin levels stable. HOWEVER, if one is following a low-carb diet- our insulin/blood sugar levels are already very low. Wouldn't eating 3 meals a day allow greater fat loss (seeing how the body would have to get more energy from body fat between meals).

Default good theory

The insulin stabilizing isn't as much of a factor when on LC plans, but, maintaining a positive nitrogen balance is.

Therefore, it is VERY important -- especially if one is training hard -- to take in some protein/amino acids every few hours to ensure a constant flow of aminos in the body.

It's inevitable ... no matter what you do, 6+ meals per day is how it's gonna be. LOL.

Good question.

Alright, thanks for the input. Personally, I'd rather eat the 6 meals a day anyways. I was just doing a little bit of "pondering".
