Default Houston, TEXAS... BBQ Cookoff Drinking

Are any of yall going to the cookoff next weekend??? I am not worried about the food there, but I am concerned about all of the drinking... I have not had a drink since Jan 31st. I am proud of me!!! That was one reason that I got so plump in the first place... I am a beer drinker!!! I also love vodka and tonic, colorado bulldogs, and amaratto sours... I am planning to do it up big next weekend ~ If you didn't know, there is this huge event in Houston (almost as big as the superbowl) the 26th thru the 29th. It is the World's Larges BBQ Cookoff!!! I need to know if Kuhula is allowed ~ I thought I could make Colorado Bulldogs for all of my low carbing pals... so, would mix ff milk, vodka, Kuhula, Diet Vanilla Coke (can't stand reg DC) Would this be considered a LC drink? Should I just stick with vodka & Diet Cherry 7-up. About 6 months ago, I got a list of LC drinks from a member named gotbeer from Dallas. Does anyone know if he is still around? I have not seen his name on the forum. I have lost that list, and can't find it on this forum, it is probably too long ago. Well, if anyone has any fun drink ideas (easy to make in large quantity) let me know ~ I really want to try not to have my beloved Miller Lite. Thanks!!!! See yall at the cookoff...

Kaluha is loaded with sugar so I would have to say that it would be a very bad choice.

I try to stick to liquor and diet sodas. My favorite is Vodka and Diet Squirt. There is also a LC Margarita mix out there but so far I have only seen it online so you probably wouldn't get it in time.

They also have Mikes Hard Lemonade Lite now with only 3 or so carbs in it, you could look for that too.

This cookoff sounds really cool! Have fun!

Wee

The Cook-out does sound fun!! And yummy too!! *slurp*

I would stick to clear liquors, rum, vodka, gin, brandy and diet sodas too..

Mikes Hard sounds good too... I haven't seen the Lite around here yet..

I was a huge White Russian drinker before the LC lifestyle came to be and the first thing I had to give up was the Kahlua and milk. Even though I used FF milk. I did try a variation of the colorado bulldog using FF half and half but it seemed to curdle a little when mixed up.

The colorado bulldog I know is a white russian with milk then add a splash of pepsi or coke. Now I'm thirsty.
