I just saw my comment from October 2017. It's true I didn't eat so much ice cream in winter. However, since early this year I've been struggling to say under 73 kg. That's way up on my nearest-to-goal of 64-65 which I briefly reached two or three years ago on LC.
I've never been strict about drinking and I don't really think I was ever THAT strict about carbs but somehow I lost my way some time last year or even at the end of the year before when I think I was hovering around 69-70 kg. Now I am eating as close to cave man as I can cope with - meat, fish, some non starchy veg (I guess caveman didn't have too many of those), less dairy (I love cheese - yes, I know that came in with the Neolithic) and no grains. I can't say I'm 100% sugar free as I drink wine and eat 90% chocolate in small amounts. Still, I'm finding my interests in food waning, which is a good sign in my case as I have a strong emotional bond with food. Unfortunately, it is probably cyclical but I run with it for now. There's still some dissonance about my low carb diet that really does seem to be the only thing that keeps me from blowing up like a balloon and the part of me that feels that bread and pasta and things, in their wholemeal form at least, OUGHT to be healthy even though I know they are not.
