Default The best broccoli of your life! (Roasted broccoli)

This is a link to a recipe for roasted broccoli with olive oil, lemon juice & zest, roasted garlic and pine nuts.

It is the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. Even my husband loves it, and he hates broccoli!

This is the only way we eat broccoli! After reading Barbara Kafka's cookbook "Roasting" I'm in love with high-heat, oven-roasted meats and veggies. It makes everything taste nutty and delicious-also fast, since we're always in a hurry to eat.

wow- just made this for the first time. it was awesome! my broccoli hating hubby ate 2 servings, then asked for the last (so he ate 3/4 bag of broccoli!!!!).

i made a couple small adjustments.

first roasted in evoo and salt and garlic.

then tossed in the fresh parm, lemon juice and crushed red chile flakes for a little heat. yummmmmmmmmmmm.

Thanks for this Robin!
I roast my veggies all the time...especially like cauliflower roasted
I really like the idea to cook first then toss with other flavors!!
I'm going to do this tonight as I am having a bronzino filet with roasted cauliflower and Br Sprouts.

Wow...that DOES look really good. My wife and I both like broccoli and I have roasted it on the gas grill several times (with indifferent results), but this looks like what I was trying to achieve. Thanks for the link!
