What you do is google the carbs & fats of both & compare. The mortadella has a wee bit more carb & a wee bit less fat. So it's up to you!

Hi. Just to clarify, there is no requirement for bacon or mortadella, etc. you can get enough fat by eating other fatty meats, eggs, butter, olive or coconut oil, as examples. I personally don't eat s lot of either of those processed meats and have lost weight easily.

I don't eat much bacon either. Never heard of mortadella - I doubt if our country store carries it. Bacon is pricey for those of us on a budget, & on top of that, I'm a bacon heretic - I really don't care to eat much of it. It's OK, but I'd rather have beef. But it does go nicely with eggs.

I don't drink bullet proof coffee either.

Mortadella is like bologna. It's my bologna replacement because here in Canada, almost all bologna has wheat flour in it.

(Sometimes I'll buy Maple Lodge Farms bologna. It contains corn, but at least it's gluten-free.)
