Cool Mary's Marathon

Well now that I have started this log, I am officially commited to an exercise program, even if it is only a walk everyday.

I have never been one to exercise, even told myself I am allergic to it!

As soon as I get up from this chair I am going to put on my cardio strides and go for a walk. I then have some heavy duty gardening planned for today. When I return I will enter my walk as a done deal and how I feel.

I walked yesterday just under a mile in my cardio strides, I was breathing heavy and my heart was a pumpin!!!

I spent the rest of the day gardening, planting, lifting, bending squatting...

MY THIGHS ARE KILLING ME TODAY

I plan to rest them today and only do some light finishing up of the gardens...

Back to the walk again tomorrow.

Shame on me, this is the first day of actual planned exercise (other than the nights we went out dancing) since my last post!!!

Today I started a new routine (I am promising myself this)

15 minutes on the stationary bike
15 minutes on the treadmill
30 minutes of weights
It felt good to get that heart pumping and break a sweat!!

My next planned day is Monday, I will then do it every Monday Wednesday and Friday...

Angry UGH

July was my post about how I was going to exercise...

Ok so yesterday I started Winsor Pilates. Felt good, at the end I almost thought "gee this is it???" Well today I found that I have muscles (sore muscles) in my fat gut!!! Now I'm not screaming sore, but certain movements remind me that I actually did something yesterday!!! This is good. I even think there is some muscle soreness in the legs (thighs to be exact) Nothing in the glutes but I will work that next.

Cool 3rd Day!

Well I'm on my 3rd day and counting of Winsor Pilates...

Man I feel terrific after the 20 minute work out. I will graduate when I've got this one down pat... lots to work on, there is a goal to achieve and I think that is what I like about them so much I am way down at the bottom, I feel results. As a matter of fact I even found I stepped it up a bit tonight... I'm so proud of myself.

Boy what a good girl I am...

Just did my Winsor Pilates today. I take the weekends off. Usually that is a huge downfall, but for the first time in my life I got right with it again today!!!

I'm jumping for joy!!!!!!!!
