Default Advair/thrush/candida

Has anybody ever heard of getting candida from using the asthma drug Advair? I have been on Advair for about 8 years. I have developed thrush in my throat several timesf rom it. The drs. tell you to rinse your mouth out after you use the Advair which I do. I have to take the Advair, but I feel that it is constantly adding to the candida problem. I feel better now than I have in three years after using Candistroy, oregano oil, and trying to stay on the yeast free diet. All of my drs. would say that the inhaled steriods would not cause problems. My allergist finally said that the thrush can go to your gut and cause candida. I have been on Nystatin and several other prescription drugs for it in the past but it always comes back. No one ever mentions the Advair and candida. Antibiotics are usually mentioned. Just wondering if anyone else is in my shoes.

Isn't Advair a type of steroid? I have read that long term use of steroids can help candida to grow.

Just a thought.

Oh my gosh. This makes so much sense. I have a definate yeast problem- most of the time I'm so uncomfortable, it's unbearable. In the past month, I've tried 6 different kinds of medicines to cure it. The doctors dont know what to do. Theyre at a loss... just scratch their heads. But I have asthma and have used an inhaler since I was young. It's all coming together.
