Lightbulb Bread / Cracker alternative

Does anyone have an alternative to bread or crackers....for spreading pate on??

I have tried the pate with celery....but not keen.

I have also tried it stuffed in mushrooms and baked....very nice, but not very convenient as a quick snack.

Any ideas welcome...!!

How about cheese crisps. Spray a baking sheet with oil, and spread out shredded cheese. Bake at 250 degrees until crispy. Don't know how they would taste with pate', though...

Over hear we have Wasa crackers (rye) from Sweden that have about four grams per cracker (they are big. I break them into pieces). They are great with pate and brie! You might want to try Sainsburys to see if they have anything similar (I think someone else mentioned they do).

Cheers!

There is also a product of Norway called FiberRich bran crackers. They are excellent with pate and also with cream cheese. One serving is 2 crackers which has 7g net carbs. Plus it gives you 20% of your daily fiber.

They should have it available to you since I've seen it in my local British specialty store. (My dad is British, so we grew up eating lots of good British foods).
