You spoke too soon, Kelly, because I am not too well at the moment and have kinda stopped with the "going". But when I'm feeling better I'll make more of an effort again.

Oh, and because I was feeling so cruddy yesterday I thought I'd "reward" myself with some chocolate that has been hiding in the fridge. Talk about karma! I bit into it and broke off a chunk of old filling. (Did the same thing recently with some sugar free chewing gum. My dentist told me that at my age - I'm only 65! - gum is a an absolute no no)
So had to drag myself off to the dentist. Served me right, I know, but I did feel sorry for myself. I can laugh about it now though. Told the dentist that all pleasure is being denied me. He said I can still drink.

Yah but too much of that and you could fall down and do some serious damage to your teeth
I've freaked myself out realizing it's only 10 week till holidays and I really wanted to be in better shape by then, so I'm pushing myself. Didn't have the 10000 in so I got on the treadmill tonight and made up for it. I'm also thinking of doing to Zoo walk fundraiser again this year and I usually do well getting ready for it. Maybe instead of dangling carrot in front of myself I should dangle some chocolate

I had no idea what you were talking about until I looked it up. I was assuming you were either going a tiny bit nuts (sorry... ), or it was a movie, or an American or Canadian show. How amazed was I to discover it was an Aussie show! I mush have seen ads for it at some point but just paid no attention to it.
So I think it's safe to say I haven't seen it.

Meanwhile, I'd better update my steps. I've been putting it off because they've been so dreadful. I haven't been 100%, but, well, it's time I moved a bit more. But I'm COLD! We are in the middle of a cold snap. And we only have heating in the bedroom of our timber house. (whinge, whinge, whine) But yeah, moving around, might just warm me up. I know.

Too funny, well I am a lot crazy so that would have been understandable.... but I'm really enjoying the show, it's a bit soap opera'ish with way too much happening to one group of people but the characters are good so it's fun to watch (Frankie J. Holden being one of them). I watch quite a bit of Aussie stuff, watched both Broken shore and Serangoon Road with Don Hany and I'm always on the look out for more. I watch it on the computer while I'm catching up on office work that way I feel like I've had a bit of "me" time

I do like Frankie J. Not his original name, by the way. Did you know that the FJ Holden was Australia's first Australian made car? Came out in about 1947, I think. Nope, 1953 according to Wikipedia. I just asked Mark, and he thinks the year of his birth, 1948, so mebbe Wikipedia is wrong - whatever. They are old cars.

So while I was at it, I looked up the actor (originally a pop singer, which I knew), and his real name is Peter Brian. I remember when his first wife (the mother of his children) died of cancer, and he remarried an actress who is a favourite of mine called Michelle someone, and they have seemed happy together ever since (15 or 16 years ago).

I just learnt something. The first Holden wasn't an FJ, it was an FX, and it did come out in the year of Mark's birth. You can tell I'm not a petrol head.
