Default Appetite back and a little worried...

First week of induction I had barely an appetite and was worried that I wasn't getting enough food in to prevent going into starvation mode. But now my appetite is definately back (though nothing like before, I'll admit) and I'm a little worried that I'll start eating too much. Is this pretty normal fears for beginning low-carb WOL? Anyone have any tips on dealing with this? I know the obvious one is, "if you're hungry, eat" and I posted another message asking for snack tips. It's just been great being on a weight-loss plan that doesn't leave me hungry.

Any advice?

Tam

Tam, not to be redundant but if you're hungry, Eat. There is usually a reason for it. Are you working out ?

To cover all bases, have you introduced anything new into your diet lately? I'm thinking hidden carbs here.

Are you eating LC bars? (again, hidden carbs)

Are you drinking your water? (often dehydration presents itsefl as hunger)

I see you live in CA - has the weather been colder lately?

If you're hungry and eating and you're still losing fat? Don't worry about it! Have you started up a Journal in the bootcamp section of the forum to track your food? It would make offering advice and help much easier.

Default Thanks Nat!

I acutally did start a journal but in the T section (didn't realize that there was the Bootcamp - oops!) so I just put an entry in it. I think I figured out why I was feeling hungry though - only had a greek salad that afternoon with 1 oz cheese as protien so probably the lack of protiens left me hungry.

Tam, the 'bootcamp' section is the Journal section You got it right - and they are divided up by alphabet.

Cheers,
Nat
