It is generally understood that artificual sweeteners raise insulin levels. Dr Atkins puts a limit of three servings of AS a day. When I use it as a drink like crystal lite, I use two liters mixed which is easier to track. Which is four servings.

I used AS drinks as a tool, and eventually decrease the amount, even eliminate it.

It is a tool....use it to get to your goal.
