Most people use the net carb calculation which is total carbs minus fiber, so the PECC figure of 1.5g would be correct in this case

It depends where you are from, in the UK fiber is listed seperately from carbs, so carbs listed are net carbs. In USA you have to subtract fiber.

The first example looks like a non-US label to me as the fibre is listed after the protein and fat, not beside the carbs.

I don't think they are "labels" at all. To me, they look like copies of entries from My P.L.A.N.

My P.L.A.N. gives you the option of choosing to have both carbs and fiber content displayed, so you can do your own calculations, or of having the software do the math, in which case just the PECC is displayed. If you choose the former, then the display looks like the first pic in the OP's post. If you choose PECC, then the display looks like the second pic. JMO.

All these are very helpful.
Q re Kisal's post copied below.
How do I ask software to calculate PECC for me?

Click on the My P.L.A.N. link (yellow words in green tool bar). From the menu on the left side of the page that opens, click on Edit Settings. On the page that opens, scroll down until you see the box titled Effective Carb Count. (It will be the second box up from the bottom of the page.) Click on the circle immediately to the left of the way you want My P.L.A.N. to display the fiber for you, i.e. "Show Fiber count" OR "Show PECC."

The link shown below the two options will take you to a page that explains PECC.

After you've made your choice, don't forget to click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page! Otherwise, it will automatically revert to the default method of displaying fiber content.

Kisal,

Thanks!
This is very helpful.
In link, it says
"The method that will be implemented shortly is as follows:"
I looks like it has been implemented now?

My understanding is that the default is to show both the carb count and the fiber count. The user must actively select PECC, if he/she wishes to have the data displayed in that way.

Even then, however, My P.L.A.N. will only show PECC for certain foods. If the calculation makes it appear that fiber had previously been subtracted from the carbs, then the two will be displayed individually. Also, if the mathematical functions don't produce a logical result, then fiber and carbs will be displayed separately, or the food may be rejected altogether. At least that's my comprehension of what I read at the link.

I might not be explaining it very well, or my concept might be in error. Perhaps, Wa'il will stop by and clarify the situation for you.
